Courses:

We invite colleagues who wish to expand their spectrum of procedures to attend this training opportunity. The courses prepare participants towards independent performance of more advanced procedures.

Acknowledging that complications are inevitable in both open and laparoscopic surgery, the Queensland Laparoscopy Workshop gives participants the opportunity to reflect on their attitude to complications and will increase the participants’ competence in their management.

Aims:

The courses aim to:

  1. Increase participants’ confidence in laparoscopic techniques;
  2. Enable participants to develop a set-up in which they can take the next step towards advanced laparoscopic procedures safely.
